Borjomi: the park, the water, and when it is worth going.
Borjomi is a spa town known for its mineral water, in a wooded valley two hours from Tbilisi. It is often combined with Bakuriani in the same trip.

Deeper into the park, about forty minutes' walk in, are open-air sulphur pools. Entry is paid but cheap. Take a towel.
